About Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA)
Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA, PVOH) is a white, water-soluble synthetic polymer supplied as granules or powder. Dissolved in hot water it forms a clear solution that binds, films and thickens, which is why it is one of the most widely used raw materials in Ugandan factories.
Glue makers use it for white glue and paper adhesives. Paper and packaging plants use it for surface sizing and coatings. Textile mills use it for warp sizing, and paint and construction chemical makers use it in emulsions, putties and tile adhesives.
Grades differ by viscosity and degree of hydrolysis. Tell us your application or the grade you use today and we will quote the right material, with the technical data sheet.
